The Summer Apprenticeship Program is hosting a booth at the Black Wall Street Festival August 15 (on the New Haven Green) to showcase the work they created and the ideas they learned from studying with artist Kat Wiese for three weeks this July. Kat Wiese worked with New Haven Public School Teen artists while they researched the Green Book and what safety means to them through paper making, book binding and printmaking.
