We are thrilled that you will be participating in our upcoming exhibition, Ear to the ground, curated by special guest juror Julie Torres. The exhibition will run January 13 to February 21, 2019 with a public opening reception on Sunday, January 13, 1 – 3 pm.

Important Information

Drop-off Dates: January 7, 12–2 pm and January 8, 5–7 pm*
*Please note we are not open and cannot receive artwork at any other time
Drop-off Location: Ely Center of Contemporary Art, 51 Trumbull Street, New Haven, CT 06510
Exhibition Dates: January 13 – February 21, 2019
Reception Date: January 13, 1–3 pm
Closing Reception Date: February 21, 3–5 pm
Pick Up Dates: February 21, 5–7 pm and February 24, 1–4 pm

  • All artwork must be ready to hang or be installed as is.

  • Please note we cannot accept work that is not properly labelled on the back with artist name, email address, artwork title, and date.

  • Please note we do not have pedestals, museum wax, etc.

  • The gallery will retain 30% from any sales and the artist will receive the remaining 70%.


This letter will serve as our agreement. Please read and sign the Release of Liability form HERE.

If you are shipping artwork, please carefully read and sign an additional form: Letter of Agreement and Release of Liability HERE.

Please note: Any work that has been shipped without signing the form and without pre-approval from EC0CA will not be accepted and will be disposed of as deemed appropriate by the Ely Center of Contemporary Art.
